Striped Pattern

This is how how to make a striped pattern
from an image
Your own unique pattern

Open up a picture or an image of something.
Maybe try this weeks picture challenge?

Drag your crop tool to make an oblong and crop

Now go to Effects /Image Effects/Offset

 copy my settings but on the vertical offset go as far as you can with the numbers
on mine I got to 102 before it went pink and went beyond its max
It takes the stripes to the top of the image. - click OK

 Now you want to make that a seamless tile so again go to Effects / Image effects/Seamless Tiling

use my settings then click OK

you now have a great striped background you can use for Text Fill or frames
or anything you want!!! Its all yours...you made it!!
