Using Magic Wand

Open up whatever it is you want to colour
Go to layer pallet and right click on where it says Background
and Promote to Background Layer which turns it into a Raster Layer

Now click on Magic wand and check your settings

Click into your space you want to colour. If it has a border you want to get rid of
go to Selections/Modify/Expand

Then flood fill your section.

Whilst the ants are crawling you can either add a texture
or a plugin filter you want to use
In mine I used fur

Selections/Select None.

Here is my mouse I colored which is snaggable.
